The drugs MUST have been better in the 70s. Have you ever seen people so happy to be on a subway? I think people in my age group (and younger) really missed out on some good stuff.
Oh my God, that's frightening. If I had seen that ad, there's no, NO way I would have taken the metro. It's like a Hare Krishna sect singing in the metro...
You're no fun 007inafrica :). When I start commuting (soon hopefully...), I'm going to start singing "il fait beau dans l'metro" and doing a little dance routine :) -Ammo

I'm with you-- we missed out. Perhaps it wasn't drugs, but all that hair that was the key to their happiness?
